One standout dish is the Fresas con Crema French Toast, which captures the essence of indulgence with its sweet, creamy topping over perfectly cooked French toast. Alex Ramirez raves about the Chilaquiles, emphasizing their flavorful punch and generous portion. If you’re in the mood for something savory, the Los 3 Cochinitos mini sandwiches offer a smoky, BBQ pulled pork experience that is simply unforgettable, as Caleb Bravo points out. These dishes showcase the kitchen’s expertise in crafting meals that are both hearty and satisfying.
Moreover, the quality of drinks at El Bistro deserves mention. Made by skilled baristas rather than automated machines, each beverage is crafted with care, enhancing your overall experience. The outdoor seating adds an extra layer of charm, especially for those leisurely weekend brunches.

“ Really nice staff. Food came out quickly. Wish they would have seated us more in the main area rather than the secluded side of the restaurant. Food was pretty good. We got the tres leches french toast and the hash skillet. Tasted pretty good. Chicken was a tad try but the salsa helped. Overall, pretty good. ”
“ Best restaurant in Tracy?! … it definitely checks a ton of boxes to be so. The food is full of flavor, very smartly constructed and portions are generous. They plate their dishes beautifully as well. My wife and I order a few dishes (all great!) but the Fresas con Crema French Toast and Chilaquiles were incredible! Great service, love the decor of the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back! ”
“ Just discovered El Bistro, and let me tell you — Tracy just leveled up its brunch game. This is their third location, and it shows: everything from the plated presentation to the craft barista drinks screams upscale Mexican brunch. We started with the "Los 3 Cochinitos" — think mini BBQ pulled pork sandwiches with bold, smoky flavor and soft buns that melt in your mouth. Then came the Chilaquiles de Chipotle — flavorful, perfectly spiced, and seriously filling. You won’t leave hungry. The drinks? Made by a barista, not just someone pressing a button. You can taste the difference. Bonus: There's outdoor seating that’s mostly shaded — perfect for weekend brunch vibes. If you're in Tracy and haven't checked out El Bistro yet… you're missing out. This spot is going to be a local favorite real fast. ”
“ The place is really so much nicer now that it’s not La Villa. The inside was comfortable and inviting and the service was great. The food was good and the portions were on the larger side. I got the waffle sandwich. The waffles were nice and crisp and had a good sweetness. The eggs were scrambled well and not too oily. Bacon and ham were also good on the sandwich. ”
“ I really enjoyed my visit, just wanted a quick bit to eat. 0 wait and staff was kind and attentive. Others around me also seemed to be enjoying their meals; wonderful atmosphere to relax and dig into quality food. I can’t remember the young gentleman’s name serving me, but he was delightful! ”
“ I would definitely give this place more than 5 stars! I actually went there 30 before they closed and they still took me in! Super clean restaurant, customer service is amazing! They greet you right away and they were pretty good at bringing my food fast and the food was AMAZING!!!! Photos don’t do justice. Not only does the food look good but the taste! Ufffffffff chef’s kiss!! ”
“ My husband and I really like this place, we drove by it so many times. He had the day off and went to El bistro. Service and food was fantastic. We're already looking forward to try other entrees when we come back ”
“ I had one of the best dining experiences in California. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of without being intrusive. The food was just as impressive. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could tell there was real attention to detail in the preparation, and everything came out perfectly timed. It’s rare to find a place that balances great service with equally amazing food, but this restaurant truly delivers on time. ”
